In connection with the inauguration of our new quay, we want to celebrate more than infrastructure. We want to celebrate commitment, community, and everyone who makes a difference in our region. That’s why we’re launching ‘Port of Norrköping’s contribution to a slightly better world’ – a new annual award given to an association, project, or initiative driven by heart and dedication.
This year, the award amounts to SEK 30,000 and is open for applications from initiatives that create meaning for young people, strengthen community, promote inclusion, or simply help make society a little better. It could be anything from a sports club that helps children and youth grow, to a non-profit initiative that builds bridges between people.
The initiative is grounded in our sponsorship policy, where we view sponsorship as an important part of our efforts toward social sustainability. We hope to contribute by supporting the great work already being done and being a positive force in the society and region we operate in.
To apply for the award, briefly describe your initiative and what you would do if you were awarded the price.
The recipient of this year’s award will be chosen through a vote among our employees, and the winner will receive the prize at our Big Port Day and quay inauguration on September 13.
