Om Norrköpings Hamn
One of Sweden’s strongest logistic hubs
It is, of course, no coincidence that goods have taken the route across the Port of Norrköping since the Middle Ages. Quite simply, we have the advantage of being very well positioned for the Swedish export industry, as well as for those with Sweden, the Nordic region and the Baltic Sea region as markets. Norrköping is considered to be one of Sweden’s stronger logistics locations, where different freight transport routes converge in an intermodal node.
The Port of Norrköping is a full-service port handling many different types of goods. Mainly forestry, steel, grain, energy and petroleum products, containers and project cargo from Swedish industries. The port’s customers and operators include major industrial and trading companies, shipping companies, transport companies and freight forwarders.
The port is easily accessible and can handle the largest ships in the Baltic Sea. We’re connected to major roads like the E4 and E22, and several national routes, as well as the Southern Main Line. Lately, we’ve invested in improving our infrastructure to make getting here even easier.
